Sotosalbos

Sotosalbos is a small picturesque village that you will pass on the way from the stud farm to Segovia. The parish church of San Miguel Arcángel, in the heart of the village, is one of the most important Romanesque churches in the country because of its south porch (Spanish: portico or galería porticada).

Pedraza

The small village of Pedraza is also definitely worth a visit. Its cobbled streets and the houses with heraldic stones form a medieval complex where you should definitely walk through all its corners: from the Puerta de la Villa gate to the other end of the village, where the castle is located.

Turégano

It is about 15 minutes by car to Turégano. Apart from a nice little hotel (Posada El Zaguan) with restaurant, there is also a definitely worth seeing castle from the Middle Ages, which lies on a hill and is visible from far away.

Some time ago, Leonie already had the pleasure of standing in front of Gabriele Boiselle's camera with the stallion Ebano in front of the impressive backdrop.
