Vision
My vision is to breed a horse that is characterized by its noble, clear and very people-oriented character. It should be intelligent, sensitive, but at the same time brave and have a friendly temperament. It should be rideable, docile and fine. It should be able to move excellently and impress with its beauty. It should touch and inspire the hearts of people.
I have found all these characteristics combined in the Lusitano horse breed and especially in the Lusitanos of La Perla!
With all my love and passion, I pursue the idea of this special form of breeding and provide my horses a happy home where they can grow and live a life full of trust and shelter yet free.
The love for these wonderful horses is my greatest motivator. I am full of gratitude for all the wonderful souls that come to me and that I can give them the best possible start in their lives until they find "their" human and make them happy.
Buying a horse is always a matter of trust and heart. So the right horse always finds the right person. Even in their new environments, I continue to be present for my horses and their new "heart" people and joyfully take part in the development between both parties. My wish is that my horses and their owners spend many fulfilled and happy years together!
Mission
I see my life's work not only in breeding beautiful horses of the Lusitano breed, but also in making the world as a whole a little better for horses. I want to raise people's awareness for a more mindful approach to life in general and horses in particular.
My mission here at La Perla is to provide all horses a beautiful home where they can grow and live with loving attention to each individual animal, sheltered and yet absolutely free and in accordance with their nature.
Each horse is unique and has its own personality. Together with my team, we strive daily with dedication and love to allow each horse feel its uniqueness, to see it as it is, and to encourage it in the best possible way.

La Perla stands for a quality Lusitano growing up in optimal conditions, both physically and mentally, and developping in the best possible way. It is characterized by its noble and clear character, is rideable and can look back on best breeding lines. It impresses with its expressive gaits, beauty and the great variety of wonderful colors. The La Perla Lusitano remains true to its breed characteristics and the talent for almost all disciplines flows in its blood. Liberty dressage, extended rides, dressage up to the highest lessons, jumping obstacles, circus tricks, working equitation... - whatever makes the (rider's) heart beat faster, our Lusitanos are full of zeal!
