He stood out for his conformation and versatility, which he had proven both in the dressage ring and in the bull ring. His long shoulders were excellently proportioned and his head stood out for its typical Lusitano line. Ortega, thanks to his excellent conformation and good character, was a very rideable horse that always paid attention to his rider.

He is a grandson of "Firme" and a son of the great "Novilheiro", who proved his quality not only in dressage at Grand Prix level, but also due to his victories at international show jumping competitions.
