June 6-10, 2023 in Spain, near Madrid, Segovia
Horse Dancing is a soulful dancein which I dive deeply into the movement of the horse, act completely out of the moment and let myself be invited into the constant surprise. Then magical moments of bliss arise. The beauty of the horses begins to shine and two bodies come into common flow.
We will build this magical dance step by step. We will explore the individual elements that contribute significantly to it:
What you will learn:
- Develop an authentic connection with the horse
- The body as an organ of perception in the encounter with the horse
- Leading and being led in the movement with the horse
- Connection instead of dominance
- Emotional agility
- Dealing with mistakes and uncertainties
- Energetic boundaries in the movement between man and horse
- Embarking on a hero's journey of your own
Horse Dancing takes place on the ground, the workshop does not include riding. Horse Dancing is a form of ground work, in which the movements arise from the common flow.
Attendance at the workshop can be credited toward Hero's Journey Instructor training.
Requirements
Experience with horses or riding skills are not necessary. Please bring sturdy outdoor clothing.

The workshop times & what you will learn
1st day
11:30 Meeting and stud tour
13:30 Lunch together
First horse meeting and reflection until 17:30
2nd,3rd,4th day: 9:30-17:30
Exercises with the horses where you work individually with the horse. Theory and reflection in the group.
Lunch each approx. 13h-14:30h
Day 5:
9:30-12 am Closing with a Horse Dance and ending in lunch afterwards.
Participation fee:
880,00 EUR plus 19 % VAT incl. 5 lunches.

How to get there:
The nearest airport is Madrid. From there you can get to the stud farm with a rental car. The distance to the airport is about 130km. There is no public transportation to the stud farm.

If the participants wish, a Whatsapp group will be created to share rental cars and/or vacation rentals and book them together.
About Ulrike Dietmann
Ulrike Dietmann has been a pioneer in consciousness work with horses for 12 years. In workshops and coachings on site and online she teaches together with her team the "Hero's Journey with Horses"- a step by step way into the deep connection between horse and human.
