Let yourself be inspired by the fascination of liberty dressage in this seminar! Feel a magical connection and a deep trust in your horse, communicate with your horse through an invisible thread via very fine aids.
This seminar will help you:
- Learning to read the horse's body language
- Development and refinement of a common language
- Develop clear and subtle communication
- Improve and refine your body language skills
- Use your energy in a targeted manner and adapt it to the respective horse
- Control your expectations and adapt them to the horse
- Working with different distances
- Mirroring each other and becoming an intimate unit
- Building mutual trust
This seminar is suitable for beginners and advanced riders, as I will respond to each human-horse pair individually.
Anyone who wants to get involved in something new and, above all, work on themselves is welcome.
Program:
Thursday
11:00 a.m. Meeting at the stud farm and tour of the stud farm
Then lunch break
Theory and dry exercises in pairs
From 3:00 p.m. individual lessons, so each participant can work on what they
want. Each session lasts approx. 30 minutes.
Friday and Saturday
From 09:00 a.m. lessons, one session per participant
Followed by a lunch break
In the afternoon from approx. 3:00 p.m. one session per participant
Sunday
From 09:00 a.m. Lessons, one unit per participant
Followed by lunch together and the end of the course.
Small course with a maximum of 6 active participants. Spectators are welcome. Please also with registration.
Participation in the course is at your own risk.
Price
775.00 euros per person
(incl. drinks, coffee, tea, snacks and fruit during the day)
Lunch
Lunch together in the restaurant or picnic in the saloon or on a horse pasture. (not included in the price)
Lunch in the restaurant costs approx. 15.00 - 20.00 euros.
The course horses
We find the right training horse for every participant. La Perla Lusitanos are very sensitive and clear-headed. Thanks to their sensitivity, they give you good feedback on your body language and energy.
Travel and accommodation
The accommodation will be booked by the participants themselves. Tips on hotels, guesthouses or apartments can be found here.
Price categories from about EUR 55 per night and person.
The nearest airport is Madrid. From there you can reach the stud farm, about 130 km from the airport, best by rental car. Google Maps is the easiest way to find the Yeguada la Perla.
We are happy to link you as participants to each other so that you can, for example, join forces to book a rental car together. If you wish to do so, please give us your consent to pass on your contact details to the other participants.

The face of the course - Sonja Ruffieux
Sonja grew up with horses and has been sitting on her own ponies since before she could walk.
In Switzerland, she works as a mobile trainer and osteopath. Her focus is always on healthy work, fair and equine-friendly handling of the horse and fair riding.
She would like to see a horse world in which the welfare of the horse always comes first and people are prepared to learn the language of horses by listening and observing well and responding to the horses' needs.
Sonja visited the stud farm for the first time in 2018 to take part in a course. In the meantime, two pearls have moved in with her in Switzerland: Picasso la Perla and Jaral la Perla.
Since 2024, she has also been passing on her knowledge of free work in the form of courses at our stud farm.
