Photo Workshop with Karin Leuthardt

The photography course with Karin Soto Leuthardt will be another of our course highlights this year. You will have different shoots in the course:
- Free running stallions
- Mares and foals in the pasture (at sunrise/sunset)
- Horse with a model
- Leonie on one of her wonderful stallions
- Young stallions in the pasture
- Portrait photography of horses
You'll shoot early in the morning and later in the afternoon, depending on the weather.
One morning you'll look at the photos you've taken and edit a few together. Karin will show you her workflow and give you some tips and tricks.
About Karin Soto Leuthardt
Karin is originally from Switzerland and has lived in Conil de Frontera for over 24 years. Since her childhood horses, dogs and cats have been part of the family. This has not changed until today, four dogs and three cats belong to the family and in the stable are three purebred PRE stallions. Her great passion is horse photography. For more than 30 years she has dedicated herself to horses, not only to photograph them... She herself trains horses up to advanced level with a lot of love and patience. Therefore Karin knows exactly what is important and how the horses can be put in the best scene. The soul of each horse you can see in her pictures.
There is nothing more beautiful for them than capturing the magic of the moment.
Price
720 Euro per person
Drinks, water, coffee, tea and snacks are provided. At noon you will eat together in a nearby restaurant if you wish. Lunch is on a self-pay basis.
Arrival and accommodation
The accommodation will be booked by the participants themselves. Tips on hotels, guesthouses or apartments can be found here.
Price categories from about EUR 55 per night and person.
The nearest airport is Madrid. From there you can reach the stud farm, about 130 km from the airport, best by rental car. Google Maps is the easiest way to find the Yeguada la Perla.
We are happy to link you as participants to each other so that you can, for example, join forces to book a rental car together. If you wish to do so, please give us your consent to pass on your contact details to the other participants.
