Acupressure for the horse - a practical guide

Insight into traditional Chinese veterinary medicine with Karin Kalchofner Guerrero

29.05.-01.06.2025

What horse person hasn't experienced it - your horse has recurring lameness, a chronic cough, seasonal allergies, stomach problems, high liver values, etc.?

In this seminar I would like to show you a way to help your horse, without medication and without equipment, just with your hands and natural feed. Conventional medicine often reaches its limits with these chronic complaints, and traditional Chinese veterinary medicine (TCM) can help us in many cases with a different approach to these complaints; in many cases TCM can also be used to support veterinary treatment. As a veterinarian, I can also shed light on both sides and show all the possibilities.

This seminar will help you:

  • Recognize your horse in the 5 elements of TCM
  • Understand the different forms of TCM treatment
  • Be able to carry out certain forms of treatment such as acupressure and moxabustion yourself

We will spend 3 half days studying the necessary theory and 3 half days practicing on horses (the beautiful La Perla Lusitanos):
